Biography
Dr. Elizabeth Tharakan serves as the Managing Partner at Baseline Legal, bringing over 11 years of legal practice to startup founders and small business owners. With active licensure in CO, NC, and NY, she provides a rare breadth of perspective that helps businesses navigate complex legal landscapes during critical growth phases.
Elizabeth holds a Juris Doctor from Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She wrote a law and economics dissertation about America's racial wealth gap entitled "The Problem of the Whiteness of Wealth." Elizabeth is an Adjunct Professor of Media Law at the University of Denver. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, photography, popular culture trivia, church activities, and training for mountain 5k races with Revolution Running.
